Jaljam Ledger — Privacy Policy

Jaljam Ledger is an offline bookkeeping companion. It gives you an expense ledger, a VAT screen and a mileage log so you can keep the running figures of a small practice close to hand. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app holds and how it works.

Information you enter

The app works from the entries you type: expense lines, VAT figures and mileage records. These entries are saved in standard Android app storage on the device, alongside the app itself, so they remain available the next time you open Jaljam Ledger.

How calculations work

Totals, VAT figures and mileage sums are worked out on the device from the numbers you type. The maths runs locally as you enter each line, so the results you read back reflect exactly the figures you have recorded.

Google Play Services

Jaljam Ledger uses Google Play Services, the standard platform component provided with Android. It supports routine functions such as app delivery and integrity so the app runs reliably on your device.

Fonts

The app displays text using Google Fonts. The font files are packaged inside the app, so the typefaces load directly from the installed application as you use each screen.
